“Perfect stay in a perfect location just short walk to the ocean side beach in Wellfleet (which means you dont have to worry about buying beach parking stickers). We loved having breakfast and lunch on the roof with a sea breeze, some shade when it gets hot, and view of the beautiful garden. Also loved cycling along ocean drive with views of the sea, and down to Wellfleet ponds for swimming. Everything you need in this sea side cottage including picnic table and grill in garden in addition to table and chairs on roof top. Rooms are on the smallish side but totally adequate with fans and screened windows so you get a nice breeze through the cottage even on hot days (there is air conditioning too, which is rare for the cape but we did not need it given the overhead fans). An added plus is that you are away from route 6 which is a nightmare in peak summer traffic, and there is even a back way into Wellfleet that avoids Rt6.” -R.G., Brookline, MA
"We stayed in the Ocean Side cottage for one week in the off season and found it very relaxing. We walked along the ocean for many hours, cooked some awesome meals using seafood from the local fish market and read books. The cottage is very nice. It has a late 1940/early 1950 feel with knotty pine paneling throughout. The owners are quite artistic and have adorned the place with paintings and drawings and funky things. The kitchen is modern and ready for cooking, yum, yum. The screened in porch is a very nice place to sit and it is very quiet. The national seashore is across the street and through the dunes. Being so close to the beach you can go there night or day. Watching the moon rise over the atlantic was wonderful. Also, it is dark enough to see a billion stars. We are looking forward to returning to the same cottage next year. Can't wait!" -- A reviewer from Holliston, MA
"This, for us, was the perfect choice for the family getaway vacation. Lovely cabin (not fancy but comfortable, clean, convenient, and quiet), short walk (300 steps) to the Beach, and easy access to all Cape Cod offers. Small but functional kitchen, great fireplace, comfy bedrooms (3), and a nice little screened in porch on the front. Warm hospitality (Armand, the manager is excellent), courteous service, and a great way to catch up with your family with no TV, no Internet, etc. Our family really reconnected here - beach in the morning and hang out and play games or relax on the rooftop patio in the evening after dinner. Beach fires at night, whale watches in Provincetown on an off day, and some of the best seafood on the planet! Have half the fun we had at Ocean Side (and in Wellfleet) and you won't be disappointed..." --Robinson Family, PA
