"Great place to stay for a nice beach getaway. 1000 ft from our toes in the surf, great spot for our kids to learn surfing (rented surfboards and wetsuits in town). Everything you could need is here... microwave, fridge, coffee maker, stove, etc. The spot is great with a picnic table and a fire pit. hard to find anything to not like. The PB Boulangerie is at the end of the road too and its fantastic - nice walk in the morning to get breakfast." --- Ben B. Derry, N.H.
"Despite rather rainy conditions, my husband and I had a nice stay. Armand was very communicative, check in was super easy. You can't beat proximity to the wide open ocean, the rail trail, and a quick drive to Wellfleet Center. Great French bakery down the road too! The property itself is well equipped, cozy, overall a simple rustic cottage next to the beach. -- S.B.
"We had the very best time. The quaint space, scenic location was incredible. We loved being so close to the beach, and a short drive to the harbour. Only thing that was a negative had nothing to do with the cottage. I didn't realize how unfriendly the location can be for dogs and didn't realize that ticks were such an issue. However, we were prepared for that, and it in no way dampened our most incredible stay. Our property managers were above an beyond with customer service and professionalism. The added bonus for being a part of this stay, the unexpected gifts we received, and we were so appreciative of it. The amenities so close to us, the bike trails, the roads for running.... all top notch. Thank you so much for taking us on as tenants. We had the best time on our honeymoon. Thank you from your Canadian newlyweds. --Amy N Manotick, Canada
"This cottage is perfect for enjoying the Cape Cod national seashore in a super relaxed manner. Instead of packing up all you need for an entire day at the beach only to arrive at a full parking lot, this place lets you walk down to what i think is the most gorgeous ocean beach on the outer cape in only 2 minutes (down a sand path and across just about 50 yards of parking lot). So you can sip your coffee at the beach early watching seals play in the surf, then come back for swimming a bit later, go make lunch on the grill at the cabin, then back for boogie boarding or surfing then back to the cabin for dinner and then a long walk in the evening on the beach at sunset: no car or parking permits ever involved. We have stayed here for years, the couple that runs the rentals are super nice and instantly responsive if ever any issues arrive, the cabin is charming and old cape retro in style inside but still super clean and nice. Even a fireplace for chilly evenings if you are there in the fall (although also a modern gas heater). There are other cabins all clustered around you, but they seem to rent to families and in general very quiet and respectful people so it has always been easy to sleep-in in the morning in peace and quiet if you are looking for that. If you like to swim and walk the beach and watch seals or just spend quiet days in a hammock with a perfect ocean breeze, this place is idyllic. I Highly recommend staying here or at any of the other cabins in this property." --- A reviewer from Boston
"This was a very enjoyable vacation. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well-provided with crockery, cutlery, and equipment. The dark-stained pine paneled interior, gas heater, and a wood-burning fireplace made the house cozy in the evenings. The Atlantic is about 300 yards away so we could hear the ocean at night. The dunes and pines kept off the full effect of the winds but there was always a refreshing breeze. The services and management were excellent. Friendly, available, and helpful staff. For beach access, it's a hard location to beat, and it's fairly close to the village of Wellfleet. There's also a general store somewhat closer. Also a short distance are kettle ponds for safe swimming. Nestled in the pines, this particular cottage for some might seem a little dark in the afternoon, and there is no direct ocean view. However, the best feature is proximity to the ocean (just walk over the dune) combined with simple comfort. What I liked least was having to leave." ----Regulator, Canada
